Nashville and the Zoo

So as I have mentioned in earlier posts I do a TON of traveling for my job. I love it because I get to me all sorts of interesting people and of course get to see places that I may never have gone too.
So here I am in Nashville!!! I have been here twice before, visiting the lovely Music Row of Broadway bars and honky tonks, seeing old plantation homes and mansions of country stars.
This time I don't really have much time to see anything since I am working a really off timed shift. But before I had to start work I decided to check out their local zoo. It was a perfect time for me to go because kids were in school so I pretty much had the place to myself minus a few groups of people here and there. The interesting thing about zoos is that most of the time the animals stay away from the glass or the edge of the enclosures....people tap and holler and try to get them to come close. They leave, and the next thing you know here they come up to the glass or edge to check out the quiet one. I got some great shots since they were so willing to get close. I hope you enjoy as much as I did.
