Cross country winter drive

Day 3 into my drive across country and I'm parked in a rest area in Missouri. A lot of people doubted the fact that I should drive across country in the winter time due to snow storms and such things. Which of course put a lot of doubt into my mind before I left. Should I do this? Should i just fly back to Cali? Well you can see I decided to drive back lol. Other than it being cold outside the drive has been pretty good. I hit some kinda crappy weather in CT and part of NY but it has been sunny and dry ever since. I sleep in my van and contrary to what people might think, it is actually really warm. A bit too warm lol but rather that than cold. All i have are blankets and they are enough....although my noggin gets a little cold so tonight I'll wear a hat haha.
