Road Trip!

I have caught the travel bug! I have had this bug for quite a while but now I can't sit still. I want to be anywhere and everywhere I can be!

Now that I know I am starting my new job mid September and it is only a 6 month job, I feel like I need to get out and do something before then. If I had a ton of money saved up I would just travel the damn world!!! But since life doesn't work like that and my odds of winning the lottery are zero since I don't play, I need to work.

So where is this road trip??

I am going to travel the Grand Circle! I had never heard of it before but knew places along the way that I wanted to go. I figured I could take just under 2 weeks and cover a bunch of ground on my own and see quite a bit. So in a few weeks I head out to Las Vegas as my start and end point. I am not into Vegas, so I will be leaving pretty much as soon as I get there. LOL

On this lovely little Grand Circle I will be seeing:

• The Grand Canyon

• Antelope Canyon

• Monument Valley National Park

• Natural Bridges National Monument

• Moab and Arches National Park

• Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument

• Bryce Canyon National Park

• Zion National Park

I have already been to Zion and hiked Angels Landing which is absolutely stunning and I suggest that everyone does it at some point, as long as you don't mind heights and small ledges. I also hiked part of the Narrows, so I am planning on seeing a few other things there that I didn't get to see before.

I thought about going with someone, but since most of my friends are married, in relationships, work and have no vacation time it was probably easier to just go alone. Plus when I travel alone I am on my own time. I don't have to worry about anyone but me, and if I want to stay one place for a long period of time taking pictures, only I care. lol Might sound a bit self centered but I don't care because I am doing things for ME!!!
