Not much to tell

This morning I got up and packed everything away to start my day out on the road.
But first I headed to a store to find another book to read. I have been blowing through the ones I am getting so I want to grab some used ones at a cheaper price. There was this small store called Novel Findings. If you are every in Kaikoura you need to check this place out. It is run by a woman named **** and she was very pleasant to talk to. I asked her for some recommendations of a book telling her what I was into and she handed me a book I had never heard of (the name escapes me right this minute), so I turn it over to read the back to get an idea about it and I stated out loud “really? I can’t make this shit up” she looked at me funny and I said, “doesn’t it figure, that the book you gave me is based out of New England, that is where I am from.” We both had a good laugh because she had no idea where I was from since I just walked in and asked for a recommendation. This got us started talking about all different things from our cats, having or not having kids, why I was traveling, are seagulls needed (see my random road thought) and a whole bunch of other things. I was really glad that I popped into this little store! I left with 3 books and one was the one she recommended to me and I look forward to reading it.
After leaving her lovely store I headed on the road to Picton which is where my ferry would go out of the next day (it was about a 3-4 hour drive). I found a campground where I could get a discount and paid 8$ for the night that ended with a super warm shower.
