SACO!

If you live in the New England area, you know that a right of passage in life is to take a weekend and spend it on the Saco River. Whether you are going down in a canoe, kayak or a tube, this MUST be done!!!

This past weekend a few of us went away to celebrate one of my best friends birthdays.

You can make these trips into anything you want to. Craziness, relaxing, a little bit of both...whatever you choose. Just know that while you are going down the Saco you will meet tons of people, probably get hit with water balloons or squirt guns and on the rare change might get an alcoholic beverage from someone lol

As of this post it is $20 for a tube and there have a few different options. (this also includes the bus ride to the launch location) If you can take a whole day to float on your tube then I say do the 5 mile float but BE ON TIME for your departure!! For some reason our group can never be on time and we miss the best floats because of it. ;)

Always remember.....carry off the river what you brought on.

We bring trashbags with us to put our empty cans in and then a bag for trash we either find along the way or use from bringing our lunches.

Keep the Saco river clean so we can all enjoy it
